As part of an increasingly competitive market, besides using suitable measuring equipment (profile projectors, roughness and hardness testers, optical instrumentation), PGF adopts advanced control and tracking methods including statistical and trend analysis, parametric tests and supply-chain controls.
For production monitoring, dedicated equipment and devices are periodically verified and calibrated and the relative protocols are directly controlled by highly qualified internal staff and external metrological laboratories.
To satisfy the automotive industry which demands very strict quality standards, the company has installed an automatic optical sorting machine equipped with three cameras capable of disk or tape operation.
